HVAC: The B-2 Program.

For a bright career in Gas and Oil heating system maintenance.

Virtually every home and commercial building in the country has either a gas or oil heating system. The B Program can position you for a career that will keep you busy – and well paid.

A CT B2 license allows an HVAC technician to install, service and repair gas and oil burners for residential and light commercial installations. To qualify for a B2 license, you must complete 2,000 hours (1 year) on the job as part of the CT apprenticeship program and the educational requirements.

  • Introduction to the Trade
  • Trade Math
  • Electrical
  • Heating Warm Air
  • Heating Hydronics /B2
  • Comfort Systems Design /B2
  • OSHA 30 construction - Online via a State of CT approved provider(additional cost)

 The B2 program is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills, needed to obtain employment as an apprentice in the HVAC industry.

 Classes are held at: 10 Alcap Ridge, Cromwell, CT
